This is a religious question, which really can’t be answered by science because science and religion are two different things. It’s like answering a question about a raven with your knowledge on a writing desk 🙂
We are getting closer to finding out what people think (without them telling us) through MRI. Have a read of this:

This brings up an interesting question about evidence. Scientists need evidence to make a judgement. We would need evidence that god exists or that god can read our minds. This evidence, in terms of scientific ‘proof’ is not available and so most sceintists would say that there is no evidence .
Good question though. Even though I dont have an answer for you!!. But then science often creates more questions than answers. !!

I don’t think this question can be answered in a scientific way, because as Josie and Sarah said, we can’t get any evidence for whether or not this happens.
I personally don’t believe in God and I certainly wouldn’t want to hear the thoughts of 7 billion people 🙂
But if believing in God and having faith makes you have a happy, fulfilled life then that is a good thing too 🙂
And believing in God or in a religion doesn’t stop people from asking scientific questions or from being a scientist, I know lots of scientists who are Christian, Muslim, Jewish, Buddhists and Hindus 🙂

As the others have said – there’s no way to prove or disprove this, it’s just based on individual beliefs.
