Question: How does the brain understand how to figure out different puzzles or games?

Keywords: ,

  1. The brain uses a lot of areas to do this! If it’s a visual puzzle, or problem, then it will use both the visual cortex, and an area called the parietal lobe, which is where we have our spatial awareness. If it’s a language puzzle, then the language centre in your temporal lobe will process it.

For all types of puzzles though, your frontal lobe is really important – that’s what lets us ‘think’ and reason about things, which is very important when solving problems!!
