Question: can star fishes brain cells work in a pattern getting more advanced after they have already experienced a similar event?

  1. Interesting question! I think that the starfish has a fairly simple nervous system, so its brain helps it to react to things, such as “that looks like food yum!” and then it will eat it, but it doesn’t have the capacity to learn, or plan its actions. So its brain allows it to respond to immediate things in its environment, but that’s all.
