I really enjoy interacting with the community about science, especially students coming through who might want to pursue a career in science. Science should not be a closed field, it is relevant to everyone, and so we need to take every opportunity to talk to people about it. Besides, your taxes pay my salary! 🙂
Basically because science doesn’t belong to scientists, it belongs to everyone! So its very important that people talk about science and learn about science so that they can understand the world we live in!
Plus, it can be very frustrating when people can’t answer your questions, so I hope that being a part of I’m a Scientist will help out and maybe even inspire you guys to think about studying science at uni!!
