I wasn’t great at the sports they did at my school.. until we went swimming! Then I beat pretty much everyone! I was also pretty good at hockey for some reason. In regular life I like horse riding, swimming and scuba diving. Do those count?
Yeah, at school I did swimming, tennis, netball and athletics. I got the swimming cup, tennis cup and the athletics cup. Does this mean I was good at it. I guess I was alright but it was a small school !!!. Just goes to show, dont take what you hear on face value!!
I still am 🙂
I still get onto the netball court once a week, and sometimes our team even manages a win!
I am really looking forward to helping my daughters get into sports as they get older as well.
Exercise is really, really, really important for our brains to work properly!
I played soccer and volleyball at school, but don’t play any more.
Now I go to the gym, do swimming, bike-riding and bush-walking to keep fit. I’m mega un-co-ordinated so these activities suit me better than team sports! 🙂
I was never any good, but always played sport! Footy, tennis, basketball mainly. At work we have a corporate basketball team made up of me and my psychologist/psychiatrist/neuroscientist colleagues. We’re called the Neural Nets (terrible name I know, but nothing to do with me), and we’re currently sitting dangerously close to the bottom of the ladder. Great fun though, good to get out of the office for a bit.
