Yes, definitely for things like reading books, listening to music etc because you are using your imagination and interacting with what you are listening to or reading.
TV is ok to an extent, but we tend not to get our imaginations excited by whatching something on a screen.
Scientists call these sorts of activities “environmental enrichment” and it is like food for your brain!
I don’t think there’s a simple answer to this question, it would depend largely on what you’re reading/watching, and how we define creativity! (Sorry to be such a nerd.) But yes, the right books/tv shows will increase your knowledge, perhaps inspire you, and possibly increase your creativity.
