Pseudo-science is generally speaking, the use of science without any scientific facts or evidence to back up the statements that are being made.
So my opinion of it is that it is not helpful to the field of science.
I’d never actually heard of it but form what I can tell (and the word suggests it) it’s not really science. I’m ok with things not being science as long as people don’t try to pass it off as such.
Sadly the anti-vax, intelligent design and other non-sciences keep insisting that they are real science and that’s where people get hurt.
But long as you keep a clear eye out for what is and isn’t science, you’ll be able to form your own opinions.
