If they are born blind, then they will have a very different perception of the world to people who can see – if the visual system doesn’t get any input, then it doesn’t form, and so it’s likely that these people will ‘see’ the world as being constructed with their other senses.
If people have become blind, then I think they can use their other senses to enhance their mental map of what the world looks like, based on imagining things.
