There are all sorts of diseases which affect the nervous system, from mental illness such as schizophrenia, to things like Parkinson’s, and these affect your movement.
If you nervous system were to break down completely, then your vital organs wouldn’t receive instructions on what to do, you wouldn’t be able to move, and because it would affect your brain too, you wouldn’t be able to think!! Basically, you would die if you weren’t put on a life support system. 🙁
