Question: what is happening to our body as we sleep

  1. WOW this is a great question and one that could take a long time to answer. Our brain during sleep is either very calm ( when it is in deep sleep or NonREM sleep) or very active ( when it is in REM sleep or dream sleep. The brain cycles through sleep stages and the brain waves chnage at every sleep stage

  2. I think sleep is actually really important not only for your brain, but also allows your body time at rest and actually heal.
    There aren’t any animals that don’t spend some time sleeping, so that must mean that its really important 🙂
