It’s basically the study of the nervous system — for many neuroscientists (including me!) this is the study of the brain and how it works, but also includes areas like the spinal cord and nerves that extend throughout the body.

It involves lots of different types of study like genetics, physiology, embryology, medical imaging, anatomy and I could go on and on 🙂
