Question: is it really true that if you eat carrots it improves your eye sight?

Keywords: ,

  1. Well, carrots are full of beta carotene (carrot is even in the name of the nutrient!) which the body turns into vitamin A (also called retinoic acid) and this is a vital nutrient for healthy eyes!
But eating a balanced diet means that your body gets all the nutrients that it needs, because no one food or pill, has them all!

  2. Sticking a carrot in your eye is certainly bad for eyesight so don’t do that!

Like Kristyn says; eating a truckload of carrots will not give you x-ray vision, but eating carrots as a part of a balanced diet will help your overall (and eye) health.
