Question: why is there no gravity in space?

Keywords: ,

  1. Gravity depends on a particular body, like a moon, star or planet. The force of gravity weakens as you get further away from such a body. There actually is gravity in space, it’s just too weak to do much to a person.

  2. The gravitational pull of the sun is what keeps the planets in orbit! As Peter said, this is just a lot weaker than the gravity we experience on Earth.
