Question: I know you get you eye colour through genetics but how does it get its coulour... as in where from?

Things like eye colour are really good for teaching people about genetics because they can teach us about dominance and recessive traits-brown is a dominant colour whereas blue is recessive-you can only have blue eyes if both your parents carry a blue gene and 2 blue eyed parents can only have blue-eyed children.
