Question: When you die,your body shuts down and if put under very cold temperature, your brain keeps going,but for how long?

  1. Depends on what you mean by death though.. Death generally means the brain is dead too.

    But some of the cells will be alive and will stay alive for longer under cold temperatures. I’d say a day or two?

  2. Probably not for very long, the heart and lungs would still need to be working. Your brain cells start to die within minutes when blood flow stops.
    In the 90’s there was a movie called Encino Man and it was about an iceage man that got thawed out.
    Its one of my fav movies, but sadly, wouldn’t actually happen 🙁
