Question: If it was your last day on earth and you where only allowed one person to help you save the world who should it be why would it bethe person and most of all what machine would you make to bring back the world?

Unfortunately, the world will probably end one day. Space scientists and physicists reckon that eventually our Sun will die out and that would probably be the end of our solar system-but luckily that isn’t supposed to happen for a long, long, long time-like millions of years away!

Hmmm tough question! I think I would pick an astronaut and then we could hijack a fleet of space shuttles, and take enough people away from the world to start a new colony on another planet, so that we could work out how to come back and save the earth!! Very unfeasible, I know!

Can I say superman? He could fix anything 🙂
But if we are talking about non-fictional people, I would probably chose the head of the United Nations, Ban Ki-Moon because he would be able to try and bring together all of the countries and together we could try and figure out a solution.
As to the machine, it would depend on what actually destroyed the world, but we would probably need a machine that could make oxygen and water and take away wastes so that we could still breathe.

It really depends on what is happening to the world. You’d want someone who had access to useful stuff and knowledge as to how to use it. Emma’s NASA is a good idea, if we just needed to get off the planet.
If we go for fictional characters; definitely Dr Who and the Tardis. A sonic screwdriver and time traveling technology. What more could you possibly want! 🙂
