    Also, a hormone called grehlin. Your stomach produces it when it’s empty and it’s called after that growling sound that your stomach makes when it’s empty!

    It not only makes you crave food, but it also lowers anxiety so that you come out from your safe hiding place to look for food.

  1. Well this is a bit complicated. Some foods that are high in sugar make your brain release chemicals that make you feel happy, such as endorphins, dopamine and serotonin.
    There are parts of the brain, called “reward centres” which when they get turned on, can give us a happy feeling. These brain parts include the limbic system and the nucleus accumbens, the ventral tegmental area and parts of the frontal lobes.
