That’s a difficult question. Why do I like what I like?
I guess I like the brain because it determines how we experience the world, and really if you think about it perception is all there is. If you don’t feel cold, is it cold? So the brain really shapes the world we ‘live’ in. And we know so precious little about it!
I guess I’m also a bit of a control freak, I’d love to have more control over what I experience and how the world is.
And lastly.. there is just something about reading newly discovered facts that makes me all giddy and excited, it activates my brain and that in itelf is such an awesome feeling.
