Question: when were younger do we have a wider memory and imagination?

Keywords:

  1. Interesting question! I think from experience younger children have better imaginations, and some people think that this is due to their cognitive development. Play and imagination allows children to discover and make sense of the world, and helps with things like being able to understand someone else’s perspective on something. This ability takes a while to develop, but imagination helps children put themselves in someone else’s place. So it’s quite important for social development too.

As for memory – I am not sure, but maybe it’s because they don’t have so many things to remember as we do when we’re older! 🙂
